United Grinding Technologies, Inc. (UGT) believes the Schaudt Mikrosa BWF Kronos S CNC is the ideal candidate for centerless grinding of small shaft-type parts—workpieces with a common center which becomes the basis for preceding and/or following process operations—such as small
crankshafts, camshafts, gear shafts, compressor shafts and rotor shafts for electric motors. The Kronos S offers an innovative design feature which permits the combination of two processes—straight plunge grinding as well as 15°-angle plunge grinding—by simply changing out the grinding spindle unit. This broadens the range of applications, significantly increasing flexibility and permits short-run, mixed lot production, common to many smaller shops, as well as high-throughput production operations.

Jancy CG Centerless grinding and polishing machines are supplied with a newly developed attachment, which can be mounted on most Jancy belt grinders with a belt 75x2000mm and with a large grinding surface on top. The centerless grinding attachment is easy to operate and grinds/polishes all pipes and round tubes from 3/4”-4”. Jancy CG Centerless grinding and polishing machines are unique compared to other centerless grinders on the market, because it remains a belt grinder, when mounting the centerless grinding attachment. It is not necessary to take off the centerless attachment, when using the belt grinder for normal grinding operations. Both the contact wheel and the flat grinding surface on top are available for normal grinding and polishing even with the attachment on the machine.
